Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Netscape, Opera, Safari, and AOL browsers.

Internet Explorer 6.x
  1. Go to Tools on top of browser
  2. Choose Internet Options
  3. Click on the Privacy tab
  4. The slider should be set to at least the position of Medium High.
  5. You can also click on Advanced for more specific cookie settings.
  6. Press OK
Internet Explorer 5.x
  1. Go to Tools on top of browser
  2. Choose Internet Options
  3. On bottom of list, go to Security tab
  4. Choose the Internet content zone
  5. Choose Custom Level
  6. Scroll down to Cookies in the list and choose either: Enable or Prompt
  7. Scroll down to Allow per-session cookies (not stored) in the list and choose either:
    Enable or Prompt before accepting cookies
  8. Press OK
  9. Press Apply
  10. Press OK
Internet Explorer 4.x
  1. Go to View on top of browser
  2. Choose Internet Options on bottom of list
  3. Go to Advanced tab on far right Scroll down to Cookie box in list Choose either:
    Always accept cookies or Prompt before accepting cookies
  4. Press OK
Inernet Explorer 3.x
  1. Go to View on top of browser
  2. Choose Options at bottom of list
  3. Click on the Advanced tab
  4. Uncheck the "Warn before accepting cookies" checkbox
  5. Press OK
Internet Explorer MACOS
  1. Go to Edit on top of browser
  2. Choose Preferences
  3. Select Cookies
  4. look under When receiving cookies, select either Never ask or Ask for each site option from the drop-down list
  5. Press OK. This will take you back to Preferences
  6. Press OK

Mozilla Browsers All Versions
  1. Go to Edit on top of browser
  2. Choose Preferences on bottom of list
  3. Open the Privacy & Security menu on left hand side of box.
  4. On right hand side of box choose either:
    • Disable Cookies
    • Enable cookies for the originating web site only
    • Enable all cookies
  5. Press OK

Netscape 7.x
  1. Go to Edit on top of browser
  2. Choose Preferences on bottom of list
  3. Open the Privacy & Security menu on left hand side of box.
  4. On right hand side of box choose either:
    • Disable Cookies
    • Enable cookies for the originating web site only
    • Enable cookies based on privacy settings
    • Enable all cookies
  5. Press OK
Netscape 6.x
  1. Go to Edit on top of browser
  2. Choose Preferences on bottom of list
  3. Open the Privacy & Security menu on left hand side of box.
  4. On right hand side of box choose either:
    • Disable Cookies
    • Enable cookies for the originating web site only
    • Enable all cookies
  5. Press OK
Netscape 4.x
  1. Go to Edit on top of browser
  2. Choose Preferences on bottom of list
  3. Click on Advanced on left hand side of box.
  4. On right hand side of box choose either:
    • Accept all cookies
    • Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server
    • Disable cookies
  5. Press OK
Netscape 3.x
  1. Go to Options on top of browser
  2. Choose Network Preferences from the list
  3. Click on the Protocols tab
  4. Uncheck the "Accepting a Cookie" checkbox
  5. Press OK

Opera 6.x
  1. Go to File on top of browser
  2. Choose Preferences on bottom of list
  3. Click on Privacy on left hand side of box.
  4. On right hand side of box check the " Enable cookies" checkbox.
  5. On right hand side of box select an option from the first drop-down list:
    • Do not accept cookies
    • Display received cookies
    • Accept only cookies from selected servers
    • Automatically accept all cookies
  6. On right hand side of box select an option from the second drop-down list:
    • Only accept cookies for the server
    • Do not accept third-party cookies
    • Display third-party cookies
    • Accept from any servers
  7. In addition, Opera also provides these options:
    • Throw away new cookies on exit
    • Display warning for illegal domains
    • Display warning for illegal path
  8. Press OK
Opera 5.x
  1. Go to File on top of browser
  2. Choose Preferences on bottom of list
  3. Click on Privacy on left hand side of box.
  4. On right hand side of box select an option from the first drop-down list:
    • Do not accept cookies
    • Display received cookies
    • Accept only cookies from selected servers
    • Automatically accept all cookies
  5. On right hand side of box select an option from the second drop-down list:
    • Only accept cookies for the server
    • Do not accept third-party cookies
    • Display third-party cookies
    • Accept from any servers
  6. In addition, Opera also provides these options:
    • Throw away new cookies on exit
    • Display warning for illegal domains
    • Display warning for illegal path
  7. Press OK

Safari
  1. From the Safari menu, select Preferences
  2. In the top pane, select Security
  3. Next to Accept Cookies select either Always or Only from sites you navigate to.

AOL Browser
  1. In the Toolbar, under My AOL, select Preferences
  2. In the Preferences Window, click the "WWW button"
  3. In the Internet Options Window, select Security
  4. Click the "Custom Level" button
  5. In the Custom Level window, scroll down to "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" and select Enable
  6. Click the "OK button"
  7. Answer Yes to Warning Message
  8. Click OK.
